Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was born in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her hockey-playing father. Aryna Sabalenka is a Belarusian born on May 5, 1998. Her professional career has seen her be the winner of 12 WTA singles championships. This includes a Grand Slam in the Australian Open of 2023. Also, she is a great doubles player she has two Majors to her name in this area, including the US Open 2019 and the Australian Open 2021 won both together with Elise Mertens. With her fellow Belgian tennis champion, the Belgian also won her the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells as well as Miami in 2019 thus making an appearance in the Sunshine Double. Only four teams in women's Doubles were able to pull off. In the month of January, 2023, she surpassed her top ranking in singles. On 23rd August 2021, she climbed to the second spot in the the world rankings. When she played doubles, she managed to push her way to the top at the beginning of February that year, following the win in Melbourne becoming thus the second tennis player from Belarus to be a part of the sport of doubles. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach in 2018 until the season ended in the year 2019. He also coached her for a brief period at the start of 2020. Dieter Kindlmann was the coach for her from August through September 2020. As of the year 2020's end, she's been trained by her countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams, and Maria Sharapova are her idols.
